Artist's Comments

I've always found something rather appealing about Fallen Angels. I don't think anything is completely pure.

All that detail... It's amasing. Is his hand meant to be cut off by the way? The shadows and shading is incredible, very well placed and makes this piece come to life.

very nice, I agree. I love fallen angels, and you've captured their impurity more powerfully than I've seen in a long time. this is excellent

The wings are amazing, i wish i had that kind of talent and patience. You're now one of my many heroes that i don't know!

All it takes is practice; I'm confident you'll get there if you keep at it:)

Sorry it only took me almost 2 years to reply--but his hand is just unfinished:) I was planning all blacking everything out below that as his shadow but I felt I was done with this piece. Once again, sorry ;)

I love the idea of fallen angels too. Something about them gets me; innocence mired in blood, power no longer reigned by servitude--freedom.

Well thank you! :boogie: :boogie:

I know EXACTLY what you mean. it's almost like removing the shackles of holy servitude. and the idea of stripping away their purity makes them easier to relate to as humans "born of sin"
